The Deal That Doesn't Exist.

Your team has one job: build a program a District Manager could roll out across stores next week to handle the AI-armed shopper. Education for the floor, plus customer-facing tactics.

Build it. Demo it. Defend it.

01 / The challenge

Confident. Well-formatted.
Often flat wrong.

Customers are walking in armed with AI “research” from free-tier tools. Phantom rebates, invalid promos, deals that don't exist in this state. Your floor ends up playing the villain who says no.

Build the program that fixes that. You are not the end user. You design for the stores you support.

02 / Required deliverables

All seven. No exceptions.

All seven present is the entry bar. Miss one and you still pitch, but you cannot place.

  1. Problem Statement

The AI shopper issue in your own words, anchored to one real example from your market. No generic “AI is changing retail.”

  2. Staff Education Module

A floor-ready training built out and easy to adopt.

  3. Customer-Facing Redirect Tactics

Concrete scripts for turning the AI-misinformed customer without making them feel dumb. Include the exact words a salesperson says.

  4. “Better AI on Our Side” Component

The tool you'd run to produce the real, local, verified number faster than the customer can screenshot the fake one.

  5. Success metric

How a DM knows it's working. One primary number (close rate, CSI, objection frequency, time-to-correct-number) with a baseline and a target.

  6. District rollout plan

How this actually deploys across stores. Who trains, what cadence, how adoption gets checked. Realistic to the SET DM and Field Trainer structure.

  7. The work, demoed live

Not described. Shown. A RIPE prompt card, a one-pager, a role-play script, a Copilot tool, a graphic asset. At least one tangible thing on screen.
